The standard airbrush tan cost between $30.00 to $40.00. Mobile Tan Tech will be offering the spray tan somewhere around this price range. This price is inexpensive for customers to purchase and cost effective for use. Out of their price, you will receive a percentage of this for the use of your space and for making the appointment. This is a pure profit for you and all you really did was make an appointment.
There is also a lotion called the tan extender. This helps prolong the life of a spray tan and is very popular with customers who like the spray tan. A bottle of 8oz tan extender cost $18.00. Now this product can be stocked by your salon if you like at the price of $14.00 a bottle, making you an additional profit of $4.00 per bottle. We prefer that you stock this product so it will be on hand for customers to purchase at anytime they may need. If your salon does not want to stock the product, Mobile Tan Tech will have bottles of the extender with them to sell to the customer. You on the other hand will not receive a profit on the lotion if you do not stock it.
So for making an appointment with a client for an airbrush spray tan and having someone come in and perform this service for you at your salon, and selling them additional products like the tan extender, you have made a profit of around $14.00 to $20.00. This is a pure profit. No additional expensive of any kind will be needed on your part to make this extra profit per client.
